Small improvements

A mixture of elbow grease and persistence from Dunmore Village Association has resulted in some small improvements to village amenities.

DVA’s Colin sanded and repainted the flaky bench at the well and villagers have been keeping the beds planted earlier this year weed free while the plants get established – it needs more work than you’d think!

The Association has also compiled a list of of issues with public spaces and have been contacting Falkirk Council. The bus shelter has finally been cleaned for the first time in several years and the swings at the play park are in the process of being treated for painting. Hopefully they’ll be finished in time for Tea on the Green next week!
