Cracking Christmas carols
We had magical afternoon with Clackmannanshire Brass Band on Sunday and got a visit from a very special gentleman! Great to see so many people attending and happy wee faces meeting Santa. Thanks to our band and choir and well done to the village team for organising the whole event.

The Village Association AGM takes place at 6.30pm on Monday 24th March. We’ll review the year and vote in the new committee who will review our events program and take forward improvements to the village public areas. Any villagers wishing to take part in the committee will be made very welcome.

Phone Box restored
The phone box at the entrance of the village has never looked better. Alasdair has been repairing broken glass and smartening up the paint. Flood defence work starts in September
Works to create an underground burn to direct floodwater from the village into the River Forth will begin at the end of September. Work is expected to conclude in early 2025. Read the full story on the Falkirk Council website
Village Action Day – Autumn edition

Pollinator plaque
The village was awarded a grant by Falkirk Council and Repollinate to improve the quality of our flower beds to make them more friendly to pollinating insects.
